A heart filled with aspiration is all that we knew since the existence of the ambition of marching Forward till excellence is achieved in all endeavors. It is a matter of great pride and honour to present the highlights of the glorious achievement of the Pratapians who have carved a niche for themselves in the arena of academics, sports and co-curricular activities.
The strenuous efforts put in by the brilliant Pratapians and their mentors paid rich dividends in board exam 2019. Sourav topped the school with 94% marks in class XII-com. He was followed by Sameer who scored 93% and Swati with 88% .Close on their heels were Meenu of Non-Medical who scored 92%.She was followed by Harsh who scored 88% .In XII-HumanitiesAmarjeet scored 88%.Close on their heels was Jiya of XII- Com with 86%.She was followed by Bhawna and Nidhi of XII-Humanities and Harshita of XII-Medical.All of them scored 84% marks.
Similarly at the Secondary level Divya topped the school with 93% marks while Ayush with 92% secured second position and Sneha ,Shubham and Tamanna with 89% secured the third position.We feel elated to share that eight students of class X secured 80% and above.Achievement and accolades in academics were perfectly supplemented with an equally spectacular performance in the Co-Curricular activities.
The biggest sports achievement of this year has been the brilliant performance ofRitesh of class XII-Humanities who participated in Taekwondo games 2019 at St. Petersburg Russiaand won Gold Medal.Another success story was scripted by our International champions, Navraj Singh, Ekampreet of class VI and JatinKandol of class IX.Navraj, Ekampreet and Jatin proved their mettle by winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals in International Karate Championship 2020 at Thailand.They have been selected for USA Open Championship.The budding players of the school made us all proud with their stupendous achievements inBlock level U-19Volleyball , Cricket and Basketball tournaments and bagged positions.Besides these the school has won many prizes at various other competitions organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad,Karnal in the due course of the Academic year 2019-2020 .
Following the guidelines of CBSE SwachhtaPakhwadaWeek wasorganized in which handwash, pledge and cleanliness activities were done.An awareness rally was also organized in Hathlana village in which our students gave messages of Clean India Green India andSay No to Plastic.Observing the importance of Fit IndiaMovement launched by our Prime minister Mr.Narinder Modi,yoga,meditation and various running activities were conducted in the School.To convey the message “Stay Fit Stay Healthy”.Various videos were shown to the Pratapians.
To promote the Competitive Spirit and to bring out the hidden potential of the students they were encouraged to participate in various activities like Calligraphy ,Drawing and Painting , Spell Bee,Diya decoration, Poem Recitation,Singing,Dancing,Maths quiz,Science quiz, Role Play, Kabaddi Matchetc.
Annual Sports Meet and Christmas Carnival undoubtedly became the two major highlights of the year 2019-20.The dazzling School band and The Santa Parade comprising of musical extravaganza elevated the audience to the different level.If I were to put all the events at Pratap in a Nutshell, We encourage a Child to observe to explore, to experiment , to analyze, to confront problems and to find the solutions.
Finally to nurture the skills of the students and their mentors various intellectual, informative and fruitful workshops as well as Teacher Training Programmes were organized in the academic year 2019-20.We feel really proud and privileged to belong to such a wonderful institution that is surging ahead to realize the School motto “To Grow in Wisdom”.
